R. Bruce Bradley BioR. Bruce Bradley, also known as “Braddog”, is an in-your-face guitarist from the Midwest that is very talented in several styles of music, basically, Bruce has been influenced by many musical styles from classical, jazz, rock to metal and can play almost any style and sound pretty darn good at it. Recently, An established Christian Singer/Songwriter musician Bryan Duncan has acclaimed Bruce, as a very talented guitarist. Bruce started foolin’ around with the guitar around age 14 and since has studied with legendary teachers like Jack Pitt - Classical Guitar (Detroit), Dave “Fingers” Halterman - Rock Guitar (Detroit), and Peter Adams - Jazz (New Jersey). Bruce has played over the years with Christian bands such as Light Brigade, Acceptance, and Belief. Back in 1986, Light Brigade opened up for Steve Taylor and White Cross (two very exciting and well known Christian bands). When Bruce played with Acceptance in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, Bruce helped write and record a Demo Tape that was highly acknowledged from a Christian Music Magazine at the time not to mention other bands. Acceptance also had played several shows and festivals locally and toured the Midwest with other bands like Mercy Rule. And in the late 1990’s when Bruce was in Belief, Bruce helped write and record a CD project. Bruce also has collaborated with such talented local artists such as MissUnderstood, Tom McConnell, Marc Daniels, and Don Hopper for jam sessions, CD projects and fun. Bruce has been featured on guitar for two Christmas CDs by Scarcelli/Austin (2001 & 2002), Bruce has also recorded songs in his home studio for use on television and film soundtracks. Bruce’s music also is part of a corporate website, www.jbashtingroup.com and Bruce has writing two theme songs and has another song on a hockey team’s website www.detroitwizardshockeyclub.com. Bruce has several songs on local radio as background music beds that he wrote and recorded in his home studio. One of those songs is used as the contest winner music bed for the radio station. Over the past 6 plus years, Bruce has been playing guitar for ROC Int’l Church’s Worship Band and has done recording projects for ROC’s drama productions (written and recorded in his home studio) and with past band members of New Jersey’s Belief. He also has recorded a lullaby CD on acoustic and acoustic 12-string guitar for his newborn niece (2002). Bruce has recorded with the ROC worship band a CD project to be released and distributed to the community. Bruce has recently played with the Bryan Duncan Band (Summer 2004) in concert at a benefit for Bryan’s “Radio Rehab” show. Bruce has played with notable musicians like “The Great Walter Finch” a very talented Blues-Funk-Jazz guitarist with CD releases of his own and Ricky “B” Rogers a truly incredible bass player (Summer 2004). Bruce has recently been writing song ideas and music for other well known artists and bands. He continues to record songs for Radio, TV, movies, and other soundtracks not to mention song ideas and music for other artists and bands.
