struggling with same sex attraction and homosexuality. The narrative advises against declaring a gay or lesbian
identity during adolescence and provides balanced information about sexual orientation that is not often
reported in the popular media. The text of the CD was written by Warren Throckmorton, PhD,
one of the leading writers and researchers in the field of sexual orientation, and was narrated by
Byron Harvey. Noe’ Gutierrez, Jr. and Jerilee Smith talk about their stories of change from gay to straight.
The CD also features music by Sonia Vannest, Stephen Bennett and Throckmorton.
Within the first week of release, it was selected by Mp3.com as one of the “Hot Pick CD’s”
and was the #2 best selling Reality CD. Musical portions of the CD that were contributed by

It has always been confusing to me as to how to approach the subject of homosexuality as a Christian.
I wasn't convinced of our stand because people either come across as judgmental or without any
conviction - and I was afraid of being either. The testimonies clarified some truths for me that I
needed to hear to help me better understand the subject. I could relate to the wrong turn that
leads to an unhealthy lifestyle and attempts to fill a void. I did it myself with a teen pregnancy,
and an abusive marriage. The only way I can describe my reaction to the stories on the CD is that
those are the kind of stories I heard that convinced me of Jesus. I have felt numb from Christian static
