Here's what I've been
up to lately:
I
just finished producing a brand new album for
an incredible worship leader friend of mine,
Christa Alberts from my old stomping
grounds up in the Detroit, MI area. The
project is a CCM/Pop Worship collection of all
original songs written by myself and Christa
with a unique hymn arrangement & one Integrity
Worship chorus thrown in for good measure.
I've been locked up in my home studio writing
& working on the production and arrangements
for all the songs, playing & programming that
was joined in the studio with my friends
Michael Sweet (guitars), Tracy Ferrie (bass),
Derek Kerswill (drums) and some additional
programming by Mckendree Augustas (SonicFlood).
It was a great experience, lots of crying,
laughing, and stretching for all of us
involved. I LOVE doing this and would
love to produce more and write more for other
various types of artists and bands. I
think it's in my blood!
Well before
this little side project came along, I was
working on my own new modern rock worship
release. As soon as I was done producing
this last project, I started getting back to
work on some new, unheard, modern rock worship
music I've been aching to get out. My
biggest problem: having too many songs
to record and having to pick a select few for
this release! I guess that's a good
thing. I've gone through a lot of
spiritual growth, life experiences in the last
couple years that have left me with a whole
new perspective and well to draw from with my
songwriting. And it keeps on
coming....after this I truly want to put out a
pure Metal CD! But one thing at a time.
Which leads me to my second biggest problem:
financing. I'm considering putting out a
partnership opportunity for all those who
believe in me through Kickstarter which helps
raise funds for projects like mine.
There will be incentives for all who
participate. The only catch - if not all the
needed funds are raised, I get none of it.
So please be thinking and praying about that
and if you can be involved in any way, large
or small, in helping me move forward with this
next worship project by supporting it before
it's even recorded. More news on that in
the near future.

Aside of my normal rantz, I have a special
project this year I'm doing...Exploring
Faith....Church Hopping. I'll be
visiting many different types of churches,
faiths and denominations this year and
blogging about my experiences and thoughts
that these experiences have left me with.
It's an exploration of faith, how people are
trying to connect with God in many different
types of churches, and to also hopefully to
help the Body of Christ realize that we are
all ONE BODY, serving and loving the same ONE
GOD despite our differences, viewpoints, and
beliefs, and I'm in hopes that the division
that still remains among us will be abolished
one day, or at least a little lessened by
facilitating an open dialogue and truly
learning to Love as Jesus loves us. Find
