A
new resource for teens and college students produced
by music friend Warren Throckmorton PhD called,
"The Truth Comes Out" is
released on October 11th - the National "Coming Out
Day" - Sonia has contributed her songs "You Are My
Life" and "Never Let Me Go" to the
efforts of this project. The core of the CD
will be a Q&A narration of the main questions that
young people have about sexual orientation and then
some testimonies of change from former gay and lesbian
people. The CD jacket will contain valuable
links to additional information so needed by today's
teens concerning same sexuality. This resource
will be suitable to give to any teen struggling with
sexuality and for youth workers who encounter them.
It will be a great discussion starter for church youth
groups looking for a way to teach about this difficult
subject area.

The Christian Music Magazine
hosted by Tommy Noe recently featured me on the July 27th show
which aired 3 times in August on
Bigloo Radio. The one hour
nationally syndicated show featured all songs from my "Passion of My
Soul" CD as well as Tommy's interview with me. Tommy has
interviewed some of Christian music's top artists and
it was an honor to be working with him in this
endeavor. The Christian Music Magazine is a
nationally syndicated radio program and the show has been on the
air since April 1992 and has featured interviews with
such artists as Point Of Grace, Michael W. Smith, DC
Talk, Nichole Nordeman, Jaci Velasquez, Avalon,
Maragaret Becker plus
many more. The flagship station for the show is WMXK
FM 94.1 in Morristown, Tennessee. You can hear the

seeing that this is a very modern worship based song.

Mick Rowe is an
incredible new solo artist formerly of the bands Midnight
Orchestra and Mindset7 and now continues to pursue musical paths
with his band
Goliath. You may also remember Mick's brother Jamie Rowe

to do some co-writing together and see what we can come up with

- Past Tour News:
Well, the summer tour was awesome! I had such a great time
meeting people from all over the globe. Some of the
highlights for me were some great concerts in Chicago, the Indie-fest
and some cool coffeehouses in Indianapolis and of course, The
Seminar in the Rockies at Estes Park, CO where performed & met
many new friends in the music industry.

February 8 & 9, 2002 I was at the
AGMA conference and artist/songwriting competition hosted by
Margaret Becker
in Nashville, TN competing for the CCM Song of 2002 with my song
"You Are My Life" - I'm excited to announce that I won! It was an
honor to be able to once again meet up with once of my all-time
favorite artists Maggie B! the ultimate Christian Diva!
Also, I had the honor of performing at the Seminar in the Rockies
conference in Estes Park, CO in August.
